No. 40 WR Richie Casey Analysis
Homer
Homer, La.

Height: 5-11
Weight: 185
Year: Senior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 2 or No. 3 WR

2012 Stats: 14 catches for 119 yards

Casey has had an injury-plagued career, as he has undergone numerous knee surgeries. He is awaiting word from the NCAA on a medical hardship waiver for him to play a sixth year for the Bulldogs.

Casey has the ability to make people miss with his speed and agility. His being a veteran, along with his abilities, should allow him to be a contributor this season.

Casey had 5 catches for 27 yards in Tech's spring game in April.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 39 / Jason Jones - UR / Jared King - No. 40

No. 39 WR Andrew Guillot Analysis

Pope John Paul II
Slidell, La.

Height: 5-10
Weight: 180
Year: Senior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 2 or No. 3 H-back

2012 Stats: 19 catches for 174 yards

Much like Casey, Guillot has had an injury-plagued career but is a gritty, blue-collar player who is not afraid to make a play under any circumstances.

Also like Casey, Guillot is awaiting word from the NCAA on a medical hardship waiver following multiple knee injuries.

Guillot had 2 catches for 19 yards in Tech's spring game in April.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 37 / Jason Jones - No. 39 / Jared King - UR

No. 38 RB Blake Martin Analysis
Lovejoy
Lucas, Texas

Height: 5-11
Weight: 195
Year: Sophomore

Depth Chart Projection: No. 3 or 4 RB

2012 Stats: Scout team member and special teams

Martin, a walkon, had a good spring and needed to with Tevin King out in order to show the Tech coaching staff what he could do.

His ability to run with low pads are really Martin's strength and also his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield. College football teams need a stable of backs because of the amount of contact they endure and Martin should be a contributor this season at some point.

During the spring game, Martin had 6 carries for 35 yards.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 36 / Jason Jones - No. 38 / Jared King - UR

No. 37 WR Lyle Fitte Analysis
South Plaquemines
Port Sulfur, La.

Height: 5-9
Weight: 190
Year: RS Senior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 2 or 3 H-back

2012 Stats: Redshirt season

During the 2011 season, Fitte sustained a serious knee injury that sidelined him for the 2012 season. Fitte had an okay spring but it was clear he had some rust to knock off after not playing for a year.

Fitte had an excellent Freshman season and has the abiltiy to contribute to this team with his explosiveness.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 34 / Jason Jones - No. 40 / Jared King - UR

No. 36 OG Richard Greenwalt Analysis
Riverside C.C.
Wildomar, Calif.

Height: 6-4
Weight: 297
Year: RS Junior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 1 or No. 2 right guard

2012 Stats: Redshirt season

Brother of another member of our Top 40, Jon Greenwalt, Richard Greenwalt landed the starting right guard position coming out of the spring.

Greenwalt is a mauling offensive lineman with a lot of toughness and a mean streak that is nice to see in an offensive guard. Depending on where Vince Cano and Matthew Shepperd end up following their injuries, Greenwalt could find himself starting week 1 against N.C. State.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - UR / Jason Jones - No. 36 / Jared King - No. 35

NEXT UP: Ranking No. 31-35

If a player was unranked by a voter, a value of 50 was given for that voter.
