No. 30 DE Kendrick James Analysis
O.P. Walker
New Orleans, La.

Height: 6-1
Weight: 240
Year: Senior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 2 or 3 defensive end

2012 Stats: One tackle in limited action

James missed the first part of the 2012 season and only played in two games at the end of the season. He finished with only one tackle and a pass deflection. Wearing the no. 22 in honor of his long-time teammate and friend Tyrone Duplessis, James will look to bounce back in the 2013 season. Defensive line is Tech's deepest position on the roster. If it were not for the depth, James would be listed higher in our Top 40.

In the Spring Game, James finished with two tackles and a fumble recovery.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 29 / Jason Jones - No. 37 / Jared King - No. 30

No. 29 DB Jabari Prewitt Analysis

Hutto, Texas

Height: 5-9
Weight: 182
Year: Junior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 1 or no. 2 nickleback

2012 Stats: 2 tackles in limited action

Prewitt saw action last season at corner and looked a little out of his element as he played safety in high school. This spring he was moved to the nickle position and he was much better suited there than at corner.

If the season were to start today he would probably be the starting nickle but someone could rise in the fall to take that spot.

Prewitt finished with 3 tackles in the spring game.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 38 / Jason Jones - No. 29 / Jared King - No. 25

No. 28 OL Jeremy Graffree Analysis
Mississippi Gulf Coast C.C.
Perkinston, Miss.

Height: 6-3
Weight: 300
Year: Senior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 1 right tackle

2012 Stats: Applied for a medical harship waiver for 2012

Graffree was out last season with a torn Achilles tendon but was back for the Spring and had a really good spring. He began the spring playing guard -- where he was an Junior College All-American -- but ended the spring playing right tackle.

Graffree very well may start at right tackle in week 1 against N.C. State. His Achilles injury was his second of his college career so that is a concern.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 34 / Jason Jones - No. 10 / Jared King - No. 15

No. 27 WR Eddie Johnson Analysis
Navarro College
Navarro, Texas

Height: 6-3
Weight: 230
Year: Junior

Depth Chart Projection: No. 1 inside receiver

2012 Stats: Navarro College

Johnson has had an interesting journey to FBS football. He has signed now three letters of intent to play FBS football but had to go the prep school and junior college route.

Johnson currently is the only true tight end on the roster at 6-foot-3 230 pounds. He has really good speed for his size and good hands. Expect Johnson to become a very popular target.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 27 / Jason Jones - No. 28 / Jared King - No. 32

No. 26 DB Lloyd Grogan Analysis

Central Catholic
Morgan City, La.

Height: 6-0
Weight: 210
Year: RS Freshman

Depth Chart Projection: No. 1 or no. 2 strong safety

2012 Stats: Redshirt season

Grogan looks like an NFL safety today and has tremendous upside. With Tech's struggles at the safety position he may be called on early to play for the Bulldogs.

Making the transition from linebacker in high school to safety in college has not been seemless for Grogan but he really began looking comfortable back there by the end of the Spring.

Voting Rundown: Jonathan Ford - No. 15 Jason Jones - No. 20 / Jared King - UR
