Dunkin' Dogs Grind Out Road Win at FAU

Louisiana Tech (14-9, 5-5) used a 14-1 run late in the second half to knock off FAU (10-12, 4-6) 67-62 Thursday night in Boca Raton, Florida.

The win at FAU marks Louisiana Tech's first road win of the season.

The Bulldogs struggled in the first half shooting 26% and only scoring 22 points to trail by six at intermission.

In the second half, the Bulldogs came to life shooting 56% from the field and scoring 45 points to escape with a five point win.

For the game, Tech shot only 38% from field, while Florida Atlantic shot 47%.

On a night when Jacobi Boykins was held to only seven points, Derric Jean, Amorie Archibald, and Oliver Powerll combined for 43 points. Archibald and Powell carried the Bulldogs down the stretch scoring 14 of Tech's final 16 points.

Jy'lan Washington continued his strong play contributing seven points and 11 rebounds off the bench.

Florida Atlantic's leading scorer, Ronald Delph, had 14 points and eight rebounds in the loss.

The Bulldogs will now get set to take on Florida International at 6PM Saturday night.
