Gamble to be Named New LB Coach

As reported on BleedTechBlue.com Sunday morning, Brian Gamble will be named the new linebacker coach at Louisiana Tech.

The Alto, Texas native will replace Lanier Goethie who left Tech for the same position at Duke University.

Gamble has been on the coaching staff at Incarnate Word since 2008 and has served as the defensive coordinator since 2012.

Gamble is a 2002 graduate of Texas A&M where he lettered for four years under former Aggie Coach R.C. Slocum.

Gamble made 47 career starts at linebacker for the Aggies and collected 341 career tackles.

He was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year in 1999 after collecting 60 tackles, 10 of which came for a loss.
