Can we expect to see a few junior college players plugging holes for Louisiana Tech in the 2018 signing class? We look at six potential positions where the Bulldogs staff may look.

1. Offensive Tackle - Joshua Outlaw and Geewhite Stallworth are seniors. When Outlaw has been healthy at left tackle playing next to O'Shea Dugas, the offensive line is at it's best. Michael Rodriguez and Shane Carpenter will be back next season, but the Bulldogs could use another big body out there.

2. Linebacker - Russell Farris is a senior and Brandon Durman is a junior. Durman and Collin Scott will both be back next season and Randy Hogan was a part of last year's signing class. There's a possibility that Tech may want to bring in more size and depth to the position.

3. Wide receiver - Specifically a big possession receiver to play opposite Rhashid Bonnette. Marlon Watts is a senior, as is DeJuawn Oliver. Tech has a bunch of young, dynamic receivers including Bonnette, Adrian Hardy, Javonte Woodard, and George Scott.

4. Defensive End - Deldrick Canty is a senior and Jaylon Ferguson is a junior. Backups Matthew Ydarraga and Immanuel Turner are also juniors, so defensive end is certainly a place where Skip Holtz could decide to replace a veteran with a junior college player.

5. Running Back- Both Jarred Craft and Boston Scott are seniors. Jaquis Dancy played well at UAB, but for the most part Louisiana Tech is inexperienced after Craft and Scott.

6. Safety - Secdrick Cooper is a senior. D'Marion King, Ronald Lewis, and Elliot Blankenship are all seniors as well. When Cooper is not on the field, the LATech defense is not the same.

Three junior college players recently received offers from Louisiana Tech.

1. Holmes CC LB Vada King, 6-2 238.

2. Tyler JC OT Willie Allen, 6-7 315.

3. Trinity Valley CC LB Brandon Floyd, 6-3 215.
