Louisiana Tech finished a 2-0 week with a 60-58 victory over UTEP on Saturday afternoon.
In a game that Louisiana Tech led by 10 at halftime, the 'Dogs had to hold on in the final seconds for the win.
Cobe Williams led the Bulldogs with 17 points, but Quandre Bullock and Dravon Mangum were huge for Talvin Hester's squad off the bench.
Bullock and Mangum combined to score 22 points on 10/16 shooting from the field. The duo also pulled down 8 rebounds.
Louisiana Tech has won four of its last five games dating back to December 21st.
NORTH TEXAS PREVIEW
To the surprise of no one, Grant McCasland has his North Texas team off to another excellent start in 2022-2023.
The Mean Green hold non-conference wins over Fresno State, San Jose State, Long Beach State, UT-Arlington, Grand Canyon, and UMass to name a few.
Tylor Perry leads the team in scoring averaging 17.1 points per game on 44.5% shooting from the field.
The Mean Green allow only 52.9 points per game and will present a tough challenge for Louisiana Tech on Wednesday night.
