Tech expects three signees in the early period; one already in

The early signing period for basketball begins today. Louisiana Tech is off to a fast start as they have one already in the bag with two more coming over the next two days.

EXAVIAN CHRISTON

Christon, an athletic scorer from Hot Springs, Ark., has already signed with the Bulldogs. He chose Tech back in September over near by Arkansas - Little Rock. While playing in the EYBL, an elite league of AAU basketball, Exavian averaged double digits in scoring while on the circuit.

Tech was searching for an elite scorer for the 2017 class, Christon fits the bill.

AMORIE ARCHIBALD

When you think of Tech in recent years, guard play has to be one of the first things you think about. Eric Konkol is trying to make sure that does not change. The early signing of Delton Trinity Christian Academy's (FL) Archibald gives the Bulldogs just that. Much like Christon, Archibald is a scorer. He averaged 28.5 points per game to go along with 8.3 assists.

Archibald is also a standout on the football field.

ANTHONY DURUJI

Another multi-sport athlete, Duruji comes to Tech from Potomac St. Andrew's Episcopal (MD) where he averaged 15 points and 9.5 rebounds as a junior. As a 6-foot-7 wing, Duruji uses his athleticism to his advantage. Tech assistant, Tony Skinn, coached Duruji during his time coaching Team Takeover on the AAU circuit. Skinn and Duruji share a connection also through their Nigerian heritage.

In Tech's uptempo high flying offense, Duruji should shine.
