Tech Falls to ODU

Louisiana Tech (15-11, 6-7) led only one time Saturday night and fell to Old Dominion (19-5, 10-2) by a score of 82-69.

Tech held an 11-9 lead with 15:35 remaining in the first half before the Monarchs put together an 11-0 run and never looked back. Old Dominion led 45-29 at halftime and cruised through the second half for a 13 point win.

Jacobi Boykins led three Bulldogs in double figures with 20 points. Derric Jean added 14, while Oliver Powell had 13 in the loss.

The Monarchs shot 57% for the game and knocked down 10 three pointers on 20 attempts.

B.J. Stith led ODU with 18 points, while point guard Ahmad Caver had 17 points and 10 assists. Trey Porter and Randy Haynes each had 16 points to round out four Monarchs in double figures.

Tech will be back in action Thursday night when they will host UAB at 8PM on CBS Sports Network.
