Tech Set to Clash with Old Dominion

Louisiana Tech (15-10, 6-6) will host one of the premier teams in Conference USA when they play host to Old Dominion (18-5, 9-2) Saturday night. The Monarchs are currently tied for second in the league while Tech is tied for seventh.

The game is set to tip off at 6PM and will be broadcasted on Stadium. Dave Nitz will have the radio call on KXKZ 107.5FM.

Tech defeated Charlotte 83-65 Thursday night in a game that they were in complete control of from the start. The Bulldogs shot 52% from the field and knocked down 14 three pointers in the win. Tech had 23 assists on 31 made field goals while committing only six turnovers.

Daquan Bracey led the Bulldogs with 17 points. The sophomore point guard played 22 minutes and shot 6-8 from the field. Oliver Powell also continued his solid play with 12 points and seven rebounds in 33 minutes.

Old Dominion picked up a 68-63 win at Southern Miss Thursday night. After trailing by nine at halftime, the Monarchs outscored the Golden Eagles 38-24 in the second half to pull away for the win. B.J. Stith led all scorers with 19 points while Ahmad Caver chipped in 11 points and seven assists.
