BTB HD: Tech beats FAU 84-64

RUSTON, La. - Michale Kyser recorded a game and career-high 17 points and added 12 rebounds as Louisiana Tech (13-3, 1-0 C-USA) defeated league foe Florida Atlantic (4-11, 0-1 C-USA), 84-64, on Thursday night in the Thomas Assembly Center.

After a back and forth first half, the Bulldogs led the Owls 33-30 at halftime. LA Tech raced out of the gates in the second half and never looked back, outscoring Florida Atlantic 51-34 in the second half.
Alex Hamilton helped set the scoring pace for the Bulldogs, along with Kyser, as he added 14 points. Also scoring in double digits for Louisiana Tech were Cordarius Johnson, who scored 12 points, and Chris Anderson, who added 10 points in the victory.
Jackson Trapp led the way for the Owls with 16 points. Justin Raffington recorded a double-double as he scored 12 points to go along with 12 rebounds.
Louisiana Tech's next action comes Saturday night in the Thomas Assembly Center when the Bulldogs take on FIU in a 7 p.m. tipoff.
