Diego Pavia make his 17th career start at quarterback for New Mexico State on Tuesday night.

The Albuquerque, NM native led the Aggies to only their second bowl game since 1960 a season ago and appears to have the team right on track for another appearance in 2023.

We mentioned Austin Reed being the best quarterback in Conference USA a few weeks ago, but it's fair to say that Diego Pavia might be having the best season of any QB in the league. Yes, Liberty fans we know how good Kaidon Salter is.

Pavia's ability to run and throw is going to be a major factor in the contest on Tuesday night.

Slowing down Pavia on the ground has to be the first priority, but not far behind is limiting big plays.

The junior quarterback has thrown 8 TDs & 0 INTs against the blitz this season.
