Louisiana Tech (21-8, 12-5) is set to host Charlotte (16-12, 9-8) in the regular season finale inside the Thomas Assembly Center Saturday night.

Tipoff is set for 6 PM on CUSA.tv. Dave Nitz will have the radio call on KXKZ 107.5 FM.

In its last game Wednesday night, Louisiana Tech defeated FIU 76-73 in a thriller.

Although the Bulldogs committed 19 turnovers and allowed 18 offensive rebounds, Eric Konkol’s squad made enough plays in the end to earn a victory.

In the win, Tech shot 27/50 (54%) from the field and 16/20 (80%) at the free throw line.

The bench was also phenomenal, providing 30 points and 11 rebounds. Kalob Ledoux played one of his better games of the year with 16 points on 6/8 shooting from the field in 26 minutes off the bench.

Charlotte comes into the contest with Louisiana Tech feeling pretty good about itself after defeating North Texas 56-43 Wednesday night.

The 43 points allowed is the fewest that the 49ers have allowed all season.

Offensively, Jordan Shepherd led the way with 18 points and 5 rebounds in 37 minutes. The Oklahoma transfer has been the catalyst at point guard for the 49ers all season.

Louisiana Tech and Charlotte last squared off on January 30th in Ruston when the Bulldogs knocked off the 49ers 72-59.

ESPN's Basketball Power Index gives the Bulldogs an 86.2% chance at earning a win Saturday night.
