Burris to be Named CB Coach

As first reported by BleedTechBlue.com, Jeff Burris will be named as the new cornerback coach at Louisiana Tech. Burris will replace the departed Kevin Curtis who left for SMU.

Burris played his college football at Notre Dame where he was coached by Skip Holtz.

Burris went on to become a first round draft pick in the 1994 NFL draft by the Buffalo Bills. He spent 10 seasons in the league playing for the Bills, Indianapolis Colts, and Cincinnati Bengals.

He has spent time coaching for the Miami Dolphins (2013-2016), Notre Dame (2016), and Northern Iowa (2017).

Burris will have the opportunity to coach a talented group of Bulldog cornerbacks that include Freshman All-American, Amik Robertson.
