RUSTON, La. - Louisiana Tech head football coach Sonny Dykes announced Thursday that Colby Cameron will start at quarterback for the Bulldogs when LA Tech plays at Texas A&M Saturday. This marks the first career start for the native Californian.
Cameron has played in six games in his career and split time with Ross Jenkins last weekend against Grambling, throwing 8-for-12 for 95 yards in Tech's 20-6 win over GSU.
His best outing came last year in a 45-44 loss at Idaho when he was 10-for-16 passing for 105 yards.
