Dunkin' Dogs Head to FAU

Louisiana Tech (13-9, 4-5) has won its last three games, all at home, and will now travel to Boca Raton, Florida to take on Florida Atlantic (10-11, 4-5).

The game is scheduled to tipoff at 6PM and will air on Stadium. The Voice of the Bulldogs, Dave Nitz, will have the radio call on KXKZ 107.5FM.

Louisiana Tech has been at home over the course of the previous two weeks, and the Dunkin’ Dogs have found success, winning three consecutive conference games. The three wins have gotten the Bulldogs into a tie for fifth place in the league standings.

In Saturday night’s victory over Southern Miss, the ‘Dogs shot the ball 71% in the first half and led by as many as 31 before cruising into an easy 89-66 win. Jacobi Boykins led all scorers with 20 points on the night, while freshman point guard Amorie Archibald recorded his second career double-double with 14 points and 10 assists.

Florida Atlantic has won four of its last six, including a buzzer beating win over Rice Saturday night. An 11-year NBA veteran, Michael Curry is looking to revive the Owl program in his fourth season as head coach. After winning only 17 games in the previous three years, the Owls have already won 10 games in the 2017-2018campaign.

Ronald Delph, a 7-foot center, leads the Owls in scoring averaging 13.9 points per game to go along with nine rebounds. Senior guard, Justin Massey, knocked down the game winner against Rice and is averaging 13 points per game.

Louisiana Tech will be looking for its first road victory of the season Thursday night.
