Louisiana Tech has found its replacement for Running Backs Coach Mickey Joseph in Chattanooga, Tennessee native Tony Ball.

With over thirty years in coaching at the Division I level - highlighted by stops at Louisville, Virginia Tech, Georgia, and most recently LSU - Ball brings a wealth of experience to Louisiana Tech. Not only does Ball have big time collegiate coaching experience, but has dedicated over twenty years of his career to specifically developing running backs and wide receivers. That being said, there’s no question that Ball is a big time pickup for a Skip Holtz’s staff, and will be an incredible asset for his talented group of running backs returning in 2017 - including 1,000 yard rusher Jared Craft and the speedy Boston Scott.

Louisiana Tech begins Spring Practice on March 10, and will hold its annual spring game being on April 8. Follow along on BleedTechBlue.com for all the latest on all things Louisiana Tech football.
