Troy Smith announced his commitment to Louisiana Tech on Tuesday evening.

Smith becomes Louisiana Tech's second offensive lineman and eight commitment overall in the class of 2023.

On why he chose Louisiana Tech, Smith told BleedTechBlue.com, "Man, definitely the sense of love the coaches had for me. Throughout this process, coach Teddy Veal and the rest of the coaching staff gave me a sense of brotherhood my current school has so I feel like I will have a place to truly call home. From the education to athletics I feel like it's a great fit for me."
